VALVE SPRINGS
They are a specialty within the family of compression springs, used mainly in internal combustion engines for cars, trucks, stationary equipment, etc.
Valve Springs have special demands in their manufacturing process. They are oriented to original equipment (OEM) and / or competition.
In its manufacturing process are employed special materials, alloys, Super Clean matrix (SSC), all of them made with EC tight surface controls defects.
Also in the manufacturing process, special thermal and surface treatments are included are included as for improving life and set.
COMPRESSION SPRINGS
They are cold-formed parts with section wires between 0.15mm and 13.00mm and special wire sections when required by the design (square, rectangular, ‘egg’ wire or other shapes).
The commonly used materials are carbon steels, stainless steel, cooper and nickel based alloys and others particular ones.
A specialty of these type of springs is the manufacture of valve and clutch of high demands, going for original equipment (OEM) and / or competition. They use Alloyed Super Clean materials (SSC) made with strict controls of inclusions in steel and surface defects
EXTENSION SPRINGS
They are designs that absorb and accumulate energy, by creating resistance to a pulling force. In an extension spring, all the turns are active, and the initial tension is the force that keeps the turns tightened.
The ends of the extension springs, include simple or extended eyelets, hooks or eyelets at different distances from the body of the spring, enlarged or reduced eyelets, threaded parts, etc.
TORSION SPRINGS
They are designs made to offer resistance to external torsion force (turn of the loops).
This type of springs are commonly made of round wire, although they also are made using square or rectangular section’s wires.
A special type of torsion spring is the double torsion spring, which consists of a section of right turns and other one left turns, connected and working in parallel
WIRES FORMS
These products are very varied, responding to the particular use of each application and customer. They are made with the help of special equipment, including CNC machines, bending machines, multiformers, conventional stamping machines and special devices.
Theese kind of equipment may use both wires and strips, for materials ranging from spring steel, high carbon steel, stainless alloys to non-ferrous metals.
RINGS AND RETAINNING RINGS
These parts are manufacture in special equipment, using round, square section and special wire sections.
The ends may be natural, welded or with special shapes.
The most common materials used are carbon steels, stainless steel, cooper and nickel based alloys.
TAILORED DEVELOPMENTS AND SPECIAL SOLUTIONS
These parts may be small sets of two or more components, made in steel wire or strip or other materials, to fulfill special functions such as anti-noise, guided parts, fixings etc.
